Learning at HUMAGI
Humanities, languages and creative practice shape our timetable. We learn by doing, reflecting and sharing.
Key strands

Humanities core
Literature, history and social studies lessons become lively dialogues. Students keep learning journals, design mini exhibitions and present short talks. We practise research skills early so everyone feels confident tackling extended projects later on.
Languages
- Japanese track: native-speaking teachers, JLPT preparation, virtual exchange sessions and in-person visits with Fukushima Asaka Kaisei High School.
- English: communication-first lessons, collaborative projects and exam support when needed.
- Additional languages: German, Italian, Spanish, French or other options based on student demand.
Creative studios
Citera ensemble, folk dance, vocal labs, drama and media workshops run throughout the year. Learners explore improvisation, songwriting, podcasting and short-film making. Public performances in Budapest and Tokyo build confidence and cultural pride.
Mentor time
Each student meets a mentor weekly to set goals, reflect on wellbeing and prepare next steps. From grade 11 onward we add university guidance, portfolio reviews and alumni chats to help families plan further studies at home or abroad.
The HUMAGI rhythm
- Grades 9–10: building habits, experimenting with projects, joining ensembles.
- Grade 11: deeper research or creative capstone, service projects, language certifications.
- Grade 12: exam preparation, application support, interview coaching and scholarships guidance.
